Celebrating spring in Malaysia-China Spring Festival Gala Concert 2017

KUCHING: China Centre of International Culture Exchange, Ministry of Culture China in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Sarawak will be holding the 2017 Malaysia-China Spring Festival Gala Concert on Jan 21.

The Spring Festival Gala Concert to be held at Sarawak Indoor Stadium will be co-managed by Beijing Aowei Group, DHGJ Travel & Tour, DHCP Media Sdn Bhd and Beijing Saisi Bowen Performers Agent Sdn Bhd.

“This concert is to bring China’s ‘Happy Spring Festival’ culture to Malaysia, an important initiative towards the dissemination of Chinese culture. It aims at strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Southeast Asian and also South Asia countries.

“The whole concert is presented to China and the world’s audience to feel with visually a unique cultural atmosphere and regional of characteristics,” said organizer in a press release today.

It is hoped that the 2017 Malaysia – China Spring Festival Gala Concert” will serve as a beautiful Chinese cultural branding, bringing the sensational singing of 2017 Chinese New Year festive melody as it plays the perfect music of cultural exchanges between China and ASEAN.

“It shows the warmth of the global Chinese are positive energy, look forward to a beautiful blueprint along the way,” it added.

Tickets will be open for booking starting Jan 5, from 9am to 9pm daily at a ticket counter in Hilton Hotel Kuching. There are three types of ‘Ordinary Ticket’ which costs at RM128, RM198 and RM238 as well as four types of ‘VIP Ticket’ priced at RM588, RM688, RM788, & RM988.
