Lenovo brings state of the art technology with the Yoga Book and Phab 2 Series
Lenovo continues raising the bar for innovation yet again with a vanishing keyboard and the world’s first Tango-enabled phablet.
KUALA LUMPUR: Global technology leader Lenovo continues their innovative streak with the launch of the Yoga Book, the thinnest and lightest 2-in-1 multimode and their latest series of Phab 2 devices which include the world’s first phablet that supports Google’s Tango technology.
The Yoga Book features the first-in-its-class Halo keyboard, which appears when a user needs to type, and disappears with the touch of a button, allowing the user to use the Real Pen, a dual-use stylus to sketch or take notes.
The Phab 2 Pro is an incredible phablet which detects and maps its surroundings, making it possible for cutting-edge AR experiences, whether you’re measuring indoor spaces or raising a digital pet right in your bedroom.
“Lenovo has always been at the forefront of innovation, having incorporated projectors into tablets and taking inspiration from a watchband hinge for the Yoga series. Now, Lenovo is redefining technology industry with the introduction of a multimode with a vanishing keyboard, an augmented reality-enabled phablet, and dual-camera phablets to the market,” said Khoo Hung Chuan, General Manager of Lenovo Malaysia and Singapore, Central Asia Pacific.
“The desire to be creative is innate in many of us, and we at Lenovo are unleashing the artistic streak in everyone with our new Yoga Book. It is also a versatile productivity tool, as users can input notes easily, and bring it to work just about anywhere, thanks to its “barely there” thin and light form factor. Meanwhile, the Phab 2 Pro is the world’s first Google Tango-enabled phablet, which offers everyone truly cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) experiences.”
The Yoga Book re-examines how a tablet should look and act, with never-before-seen features such as an instant Halo Keyboard and a dual-use stylus that can write on both paper and the tablet.
Its thin and light design, 15-hour battery life, and 360-degree watchband hinge gives on-the-go tablet users the freedom to write and draw anywhere, matching the mobility of a smartphone without having to carry a laptop or a detachable. The availability of Wi-Fi (for Windows) or LTE (for Android versions) will ensure connectivity at all times, whether for work or play.
The Halo Keyboard weaves software and hardware into one interface. With the touch of a button, the keyboard appears and disappears allowing the user to switch from typing to sketching with ease. Users can also experience haptic feedback as they are typing and select the option of predictive typing for an improved typing experience that surpasses conventional tablets and matches that of physical keyboards.
Drawing inspiration from the elegance and simplicity of notebooks, the Yoga Book’s Real Pen accessory, which comes bundled with the product, allows users to write and draw with pen and paper while instantly digitising their notes and sketches.
