Unimas becomes the first host for World Quran Hour programme in Borneo.

Unimas will be the first host to host the World Quran Hour programme in Borneo.

Members of the public are invited to be part of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak’s (Unimas) World Quran Hour to take place at its Pusat Islam Tun Abang Sallahuddin (Pitas) on Sept 11.

The event set to start at 8am will see Unimas being the first in Borneo to host the event.

World Quran Hour is also participated by 117 major cities in the world, where Muslims in unity recite, reflect and understand the peaceful and beautiful message of the Holy Quran for one hour on 9 Zulhijjah, the most blissful time where the haj pilgrim in Mecca are undergoing the ‘wukuf’ (convergence on Arafah).
