PPKS opens new i-CATS West Campus

Sarawak Skills Development Centre (PPKS)  inaugurated the opening of its subsidiary, i-CATS West Campus as well as Tan Sri Aziz Multipurpose Hall with a plaque signing and ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri event recently.

The Hari Raya luncheon was graced by the PPKS Chairman cum i-CATS president Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Abdul Aziz Datuk Husain alongside the PPKS Group of Companies executive director Hallman Sabri and iCats chief executive officer Mohamad Isham Fauzi.

“The employees and stakeholders  ought to work closely with each other in order to achieve the organization’s common goals. This includes ceaselessly support the State’s initiatives to produce competent and skilled workforce as to ensure the vision of progressive development in Sarawak,” said Dr Abdul Aziz.

Dr Abdul Aziz also made a special announcement on staff salary increment that would be implemented next year, 2017. He added that the gesture to increase staff salary could further magnify the quality of manpower in PPKS and its subsidiaries.

Meanwhile, Hallman emphasized on the PPKS transformation towards being a well-recognised skills and training centre in the near future.

Also present were PPKS Management Council vice chairman Shamsur Taha, secretary Datuk Maznah Dasmi, and other members.
