A picture perfect experience for SMK Muara Tuang and Unimas students
Sarawak’s wedding photography talent pool may see a surge in the years to come. On May 21, SMK Muara Tuang organised a wedding photography programme in collaboration with Unimas to introduce and expose the Form Six students to basic photography skills.
The programme which saw 38 SMK Muara Tuang students and 40 Unimas students taking part also introduced them to editing skills on Adobe Photoshop software.
The head of the programme, Nur Ikmar Sarbini from Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts (FACA), said the objective of the programme was to instill an interest in photography among the students.
It is also hoped that the programme will motivate the students into pursuing a higher education at a higher institution.
According to Deputy Head Form Six Teacher of SMK Muara Tuang, Masyiziati Mamat, the activity was really beneficial for the students as they not only learned new photography skills but also helpedthe students collect credit marks in curriculum.
She also expressed her gratitude for the committee members who was involved in making the programme a success and the students from Unimas who were willing to share their knowledge with the Form Six students of SMK Muara Tuang.
