Special tribute celebrates Padawan Special Education teachers

More than 60 teachers from the Padawan District Education Office attended the ‘Majlis Sejambak Budi Selaut Kenangan’ at Grand Margherita Hotel on May 20, a special tribute for Special Education teachers at the district in conjunction with Padawan District Level Teachers Day celebration.
Organised by teachers from seven primary and four secondary schools running the Special Education Integration Programme (PKI) namely SK Tan Sri Datuk Haji Mohamed, SK Jalan Arang, SK Petra Jaya, SK Stapok, SK Temenggong, SK Pilaman Sigandar, SK Semenggok, SMK Matang Jaya, SMK Penrissen, SMK Batu Kawa, and SMK Matang Hilir, the event aimed at celebrating them in a special occasion apart from strengthening their relationships and ties among Special Education teachers in the district.
Several activities were held during the event including karaoke competition, lucky draw, prize giving ceremony to transferring Special Education teachers, and slide presentations of various schools activities.
Also attended the event were head of private education and special education sector of the State Education Department Vendery Mila Nata, and Padawan District Education chief officer Bihud Apok.
