INTI releases second video for fifth annual teacher’s day campaign
INTI International University & Colleges has released a video sequel to complement the first of its two special videos for the fifth annual #Dedicated2Cikgu campaign, entitled ‘More than Just a Teacher’.
In just a minute-and-a-half, the video creatively journeys through the everyday life of a teacher who is seen wearing multiple hats, thereby emphasising the video’s title.
Timothy Johnson, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing, Products & Partnerships at INTI said, “A great teacher is one who plays many roles; one who moves and inspires a student beyond the way he or she offers quality education. Indeed, a great teacher is not one who simply teaches.”
The first video called ‘Role Reversal’ was aired on INTI’s Facebook page on the April 11, 2016. Upon going live, this two-and-a-half-minute long video went viral and received 771,551 views, 32,400 likes and 7,300 shares since its air date.
This year, the #Dedicated2Cikgu campaign allows all secondary school students nationwide to grade their teachers in the Report Card of Happiness contest. The contest opened on April 11, 2016 and has since received more than 1,000 entries. The number of entries received so far has already doubled.
Entrants with the best testimonies stand to win prizes that include a Samsung Chromebook, a Pebble smart watch or merchandise from INTI. The Report Card of Happiness contest ends on the 11th of May, 2016. The Report Card of Happiness can be found on the #Dedicated2Cikgu site: www.newinti.edu.my/dedicated2cikgu.
