International Aviation Centre to participate in BPIEF 2016
To those who aspired to have a career in aviation, drop by International Aviation Centre (IAC) booth during the Borneo Post International Education Fair (BPIEF) on Feb 27 and 28 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from 10 am till 6 pm.
In IAC under the aeroplane pilot course, students many choose to apply for the Private Pilot Licence PPL(A) , Commercial Pilot Licence CPL (A) and Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL(A).
Under the PPL(A), it is suitable for those who wishes to fly for their own personal need or pleasure.
Under the CPL(A) however, students will get CPL(A) and ATPL, which allows one to fly small airliner up to nine seats or start a career as a first officer at airlines.
ATPL(A) on the other hand is for those who wishes to have a career as an airline pilot.
Aside from the courses under aeroplane pilot courses, IAC also offers the aircraft maintenance engineering course.
Within this course, there are three separate streams to choose from; Avionics, Mechanical and Structures, where each specialize in a particular category of maintenance.
Those who are interested in computers and electronics, navigation and communication systems may want to consider pursuing Avionics while those interested in working on airframes and large powerful engines, flight control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, may want to consider Mechanical as their course of choice. Meanwhile those wanting to pursue Structures will be learning on aircraft structures using advanced aerospace composites and exotic alloys as well as sophisticated bonding procedures and materials.
