French school visits Unimas for higher studies opportunities

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) received a special visit from the French School of Kuala Lumpur on January 13.

The group that consists of 23 students were led by the school’s English language teachers Patricia Lowis and Mathiew David.

According to Patricia, the visit will provide exposure and opportunity to the students of the French School of Kuala Lumpur, to obtain more information on Unimas and thanked the higher learning institution for their warm welcome.

“This is my second visit to Unimas. I see Unimas as the best university to be emulated by us with many things to be learned here. I hope that our students will experience more knowledge here,” she said.

She noted that knowledge gained can open students’ minds about continuing their studies at a higher level in fields that are of their interest especially at Unimas.

Meanwhile, Unimas International Affairs Division director Dr Soubakeavathi Rethinasamy has shed light on this university.

She welcomed the delegation’s visit and hoped that Unimas can be one of the chosen universities for students from the French School of Kuala Lumpur to continue their studies.
