i-CATS special needs students receive new year’s gift of RM30,000
KUCHING: International College of Advance Technology Sarawak (iCATS) received an early New Year gift of RM30, 000 from Kinsajasa Sdn Bhd during a mock-check presentation at the Senate Room of iCATS West Campus here recently.
Kinsajasa Sdn Bhd managing director Dr Richard Wil Uban presented the mock-check personally to iCATS chief executive officer (CEO) Mohamad Isham Fauzi.
“This fund would be certainly of great aid to help make the days brighter for those having special needs especially students who are pursuing the Diploma in Plantation Management and BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering programmes,” said Mohamad Isham, thanking Dr Richard and his organisation for contributing towards the betterment of society.
Meanwhile, Richard gave his own sage words of advice in his remarks to the attendees based on his real life experiences.
“We try to give something back to the community by supporting them especially the students here in iCATS because they are the greatest asset and treasure to the nation,” said Richard.
iCATS takes great pride in working closely with their stakeholders to reach to disadvantaged students who might otherwise not be able to realise their academic aspirations.
The noble gesture from Kinsajasa Sdn Bhd will go a long way to facilitate iCATS mutual objective to assist less-fortunate students towards achieving their academic and life goals.
