It was undoubtedly an exciting afternoon for the children from Peryatim as they got to meet artistes and radio celebrities at the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house held at Technology College Sarawak (TCS) Samariang Campus on August 8.

More than 500 people attended the event organised by Era FM Sarawak and Leema.

“The smiles that were reflected on every single on of the attendee’s faces and their fading giggles as they departed from the event was a telltale sign that one of the objectives of this event, which is to strengthen the ties between the children of Peryatim, TCS students and the loyal listeners of Radio Era, has certainly been achieved on this day,” the organisers said in a press release.

“We hope that this event can enhance the spirit of national unity among Malaysians as a whole.”
