‘Jom Makan’ at Imperial Hotel Kuching this coming Ramadan

It may be a month away before Hari Raya but that does not mean you cannot reward your tastebuds at the end of the day after hours of fasting.
During this Ramadan season, Imperial Hotel Kuching is bringing back its wonderful ‘Jom Makan’ promotion serving traditional and contemporary cuisine.
For starters, it would not officially be breaking fast without munching on a selection of exquisite dates before moving on to exquisite selection of local salad such such Umai Ikan, Umai Udang, Kerabu Paku Pakis, Kerabu Buah Mempelam and other cold dishes such as Gado-Gado and seafood on ice such as banana prawn, slipper lobster and green mussels.
In addition to that, a wide spread of salad and dressing such as Caesar’s dressing, Thousand Island and lemon vinaigrette are also there to choose from, you will sure be spoiled for choice.
Moving on to heavy courses, among the must-try dishes is the succulently roasted Whole Lamb with ‘Mujaddara’ Arabic Rice, the authentic Chinese Chicken Rice and Roasted Duck Rice.
Aside from that, a little trip to the Grill Station might also be rewarding as you get to sample some delicious Marinated Turmeric Chicken, the flavoursome Peppery Minute Beef, some yummy Lemongrass Squid as well as marinated Tuna Steak.
Those who prefer local delicacies, don’t miss out treating your tastebuds at the Asian counter where assorted ‘cucur’ and ‘apambalik’, roti canai and roti jala are served.
To complete your Ramadan feast, why not try some local cuisine such as the lip smacking ‘Hati Lembu Masak Rendang’ or the rich and creamy ‘Daging Masak Kurma’.
However, for those who might prefer something a little bit of the unconventional, Imperial Hotel Kuching also feature Japanese delicacies such as Teppanyaki Grill with special condiments, Sushi Maki, Nigiri and California Roll. One could also opt for Western delights such as the Gratinated Pasta.
For those with a sweet craving, dessert will not to be a disappointment as the ABC counter has tons of colourful toppings to choose from. There’s also an ice cream counter available.
Besides being pleasant to the tastebuds, the dessert counter is also a feast for the eyes as they served various assorted cookies, colourful bite-sized cakes, bread and butter pudding with vanilla sauce and also kuih muih Melayu, as well as fresh fruit.
In addition to this, Imperial Garden restaurant is introducing their new à la carte menu which includes the Pollo Alla Parmigiana, Chicken Peri Peri, Cheezy Veg Burger, Vietnamese Spring Roll and the Mixed Grill Platter.
For guests preferring to host their own private ‘Berbuka Puasa Gathering’ or special dinner, the hotel also caters to bigger groups, offering selection of menus inclusive of dome set.
A Semi Buffet Package, is priced at only RM69 nett per adult and RM3 nett per child (age five to 12 years old); whereas the standard Buffet package is priced at only RM79 nett per adult and RM49 per child (aged five to 12 years old). A minimum of 50 persons is required for these packages.
Among the benefits offered includes free usage of function room, beverage of choice (two types), standard room decoration and backdrop, standard audio visual equipment and surau and area for wuduk is also available at Level 5 for the guest convenience.
