IN ANTICIPATION OF THE 7th International Hornbill Conference 2017 (IHC 2017) to be held in Kuching in two years’ time, Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) is holding a logo design competition from June 1-30. Participation is open to all members of the public.
“The logo design must reflect the conference theme which is ‘Hornbills: Past, Present and Future’ and must focus specifically on the Rhinoceros Hornbill, the state emblem,” SFC said in a press release issued today.
The winner of the competition will be entitled to a RM1, 000 cash prize and the winning design will be announced and presented during the closing ceremony of the National Hornbill Conference 2015 to be held in Miri this August.
“IHC 2017 will provide a platform for those working on hornbills to present and share their findings, conservation techniques and other relevant information,” SFC added.
