SMK St Joseph to represent Sarawak in national-level drama competition

SMK St Joseph Kuching delivered a fine performance in father-son play ‘Tiramisu’, winning the state level English Drama Competition 2015.

The school represented the Kuching division and defeated eight other teams in the three-day competition held from May 5 till 7 at SMK Tinggi Sarikei.

Their win for SMK St. Joseph is the school’s first win in this category of competition.

Bryan Law from SMK St. Joseph also bagged the best actor award.

Law’s teammates were Ahmad Nabil Jimi, Darren Wong Kwok Seik, Darren Gilbert Koh, Benedict Wong Siong Kie, Mark Ben Martin Ben, Matthew Ben Martin Ben, Shaun Lee Hsien Jun, Nigel Ha Siaw Wen, Marvind Avl Kaliyani, Muhammad Nabil Aiman Thadzulazali, Ellijah Lau Jia Li, Jeremiah Ho, Justin Jerome Aw and Abraham Chor Jin Ming.

The drama team was led by teacher-in-charge Sally Wong Leng King, Dayangku Ziela Natasha Awang Rahmat and Connie Munas Dadoi.

The school will represent Sarawak at the national-levels in Perlis this September.

    I’m sorry, but I think you have make a mistake. The second runner- up was won by Bintulu, not Kapit.
