Easter egg hunt at Crown Square
IF YOU SEE somebody walking around with painted eggs or even their hands covered in paint, don’t be surprised. In conjunction with Easter Day, an Easter Egg Hunt was held at Crown Square on April 20th with about 100-120 colourful painted eggs hidden all over the shopping mall.
Initially planned to start off at 2 pm, Crown Square shopping mall was already crowded with about 200 participants eager to join in the Easter Egg Hunt.
Packed with mostly families with young children, it was a great event for a family outing activity. As the hunt needed the participants to form teams of two, naturally the children were often accompanied by one of their parents.
As soon as the hunt started, everybody immediately rushed all over the place in hopes to get the most eggs with some participants immediately rushing towards the upper floor while some stayed in the ground floor to search for the eggs. Hidden at various locations, the eggs could even be found at flower pots!
Mainly joined by the children, the obvious look of eagerness and participation of their faces showed that they were already in their hunting mode. And sure enough, upon finding one egg they immediately rushed over to the next location searching every nook and cranny of the shopping mall hoping to find more eggs.
A great activity to spend on a Sunday afternoon, building supervisor from Crown Towers and Crown Square, Tay Kien Hong hoped that this hunt would be a healthy and fun activity for the kids. Aside from that, it was a rewarding event as everybody went back with a happy hunting memory and at least one egg to bring back home!
