Enchanting Day colouring at ST3 Mall

KUCHING: Sixty enthusiastic children participated in The Enchanted Colouring Contest held at ST3 Shopping Mall from 2 pm to 4 pm on December 28.

The event was sponsored by Tan’s Unique Arts in hopes of building their interest in arts and exploring as well as expressing themselves.

The contest was divided into three categories: Category 1 for children age 4-6, Category 2 for children age 7-9 and Category 3 for children age 10-12.

By the end of the contest, the lucky winner of the grand prize from Category 1 went to Tan Law Si-You, while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runner-ups went to Lai Yi Xuan, Fong Yuan Sian and Liew Ho Zhen respectively, and the consolation prizes were given to Benjamin Tan, Airiel Assyraff, Tsai Feng Zin and Glorione.

As for Category 2, the lucky winner of the grand prize was Selina Boon, while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd runner-ups went to Tiffany Teo Hua Xuan, Tsai Feng Ru and Tan Law Tze Han respectively and the consolation prizes were given to Lai Yang Xian, Fong Yuan Wei, Darius Chai, Melind Lau and Chang Yi Man.

And finally for the final category, the lucky winner of the grand prize was Chang Lee Xian, while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes went to Tan Si Ning, Like Ho Leong and Fong Yuan Poh and the consolation prizes were given to Gordon Lucas Chong, Wee Zhi Ying and Ivy Teo.

Each winner received a set of arts and stationery, hampers and certificates.

But, for the contestant who did not managed to snatch away the main prizes, they did not leave empty-handed as all participants were given goody bags containing stationaries and a voucher for two free art lessons from Charlene Academy of Arts and Music located at Rubber Road, Kuching by the end of the contest.

Charlene Academy of Arts and Music provides art lessons such as colouring, drawing, oil paint and lots more as well as music lessons including violin, piano, and keyboard.
