End the year 2013 at the Jeenx music fest!

FOR A FULL dose of music and extreme games, the Jeenx Music Festival 2013 promises to be the place to be come this New Year’s Eve. This music festival is aimed to showcase and celebrate the energy of the youths and their music at the year-end event to be held at Sarawak Cultural Village.

 

Organised by Jeenx Management and Events Company powered by a group of youths, its leader and spokesman, Izzat Faqih, said that the group hopes to attract the local youths, their parents, family members and friends for a fun time at Pantai Damai.

 

“It is a basically a celebration by the youths, the kind of music they love, the kind of X-games they play and to meet up with one another for a good fun time while ushering in the New Year,” Izzat said during a press conference yesterday.

General Manager of Damai Beach Resort, Zulkifli Othman said that this was one of their ways to support the youth and to improve the local music scene as the partner and dedicated hotel of this event.

 

Prepare to be entertained by bands from Kuala Lumpur such as Kyoto Protocol, Anugerah Industri Musik (AIM) nominees Salam Musik and Massacre Conspiracy.

 

Local bands Sonar Instinct and Search & Destroy will also be performing this New Year’s Eve along with three other singers from different genres: Sasha Ningkan a YouTube acoustic singer, Ashraf Hardy, rapper from Kuching and Karmal another Hip-Hop artist from Kuala Lumpur.

 

You’ll also be able to dance the night way with three young local DJs spinning their music namely DJ Aisi, DJ Afick Wazai and DJ D-Zul Kuching.

 

The organisers are also expecting about 100 youths to join three extreme games competition; skateboarding, inline skating and skimboarding with a grand prize of RM3,000 up for grabs in each category.

 

Jeenx Music Festival 2013 will be held on Dec 31 and will start at 2pm until midnight. Tickets are available at Ruai Bar, Sarawak Cultural Village and can be ordered through Jeenx’ s Facebook page.
