Saberkas-UiTM collaboration announced

KUCHING: Sarawak National Youth Organisation (Saberkas) introduced the Saberkas UiTM Students Chapter yesterday. The student chapter is open to all Malaysian citizens, particularly students who are 18 years and above.
The purpose of the collaboration is to show that there are lots of education opportunities for the youth nowadays as well as to foster friendship and rapport among the youth in the state. UiTM Sarawak is the second institution of higher education to participate in this collaboration after Unimas.
Saberkas secretary-general Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said that other activities between Saberkas and UiTM Sarawak were still in the pipeline.
“Saberkas targets to establish a special website for the collaboration and it is expected to be completed at the end of December this year. Registration is open to all who are interested and they can register online when it is launched.”
He made this announcement during the meeting of the committee members and the Secretary-General of Saberkas Sarawak here at UiTM Samarahan campus yesterday.
UiTM Sarawak hopes that this collaboration will receive great support from the people of Sarawak to fulfill their aim to train future leaders in line with their special programme, ‘Mengubah Destini Anak Bangsa’.
